Oh, to have an icon that kicks me in the head! Maybe I could jump-start my brain. Arrgh!
A few months ago, one of the big writing blogs posted some stats showing less than 10 percent of all books published sell more than 1000 copies, a terrifyingly minute amount sell more than 5000, etc. We shared the links like they were the latest cure for hiccups. But now that I need them to show a friend, I can’t find a one. I found a link to the 2004 Bookscan figures (less than 7 percent of all books sell more than 1000 copies), but not the full spread. Any search suggestions? Thanks!
