One for the Books

Editorial

Once again it’s time for our annual wrap-up of the books we meant to review over the last 12 months — books we liked, books we loved but somehow never got around to writing about. Fortunately, unlike fish and uninvited guests, really good books can linger without ever wearing out their welcome.

Our line-up starts with Moira Richards’ meditation on books that take you places, sometimes quite literally. You couldn’t ask for a better way to drive, sail or fly into 2005. But keep watching this space. More good things will follow. Consider it our way of sending you our very best for the New Year.
